Dhaka: Police have arrested 33 people in separate special drives in Dhaka's Jatrabari and Lalbagh areas.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) conducted these operations targeting crime-prone areas under their jurisdiction.
Jatrabari police successfully apprehended 26 individuals on Saturday as part of their special operation. The operation was strategically focused on areas known for higher crime rates within Jatrabari.
Simultaneously, Lalbagh police carried out a similar drive, resulting in the arrest of seven people. This coordinated effort was part of a broader strategy to address crime in these specific regions.
All detainees have been sent to a court following their arrests, as these operations aim to maintain law and order in the city.
