Dhaka: A meeting of the Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, began at the Cabinet Room of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Monday night. The meeting commenced around 8:45 pm.
According to United News of Bangladesh, Cabinet meetings are usually held on Thursdays at the Secretariat. However, due to the ongoing Parliament session, the meeting is being conducted at the Parliament complex following the day’s sitting. Cabinet sources indicate that a number of important issues are expected to be discussed at the meeting, including the fuel oil and energy situation and related challenges.
