Jinghai district: Bangladesh national hockey team suffered a narrow 6-5 defeat to China’s senior national hockey team in their third preparatory match as part of their preparation for the Asian Games held at the Tuanbo Sports Center in Jinghai District, Tianjin, China.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Rocky delivered an impressive performance for Bangladesh, scoring twice. Ashraful, Amirul, and Mahbub also found the net once each for Bangladesh in a game that showcased their competitive spirit.
As part of their Asian Games preparation, Bangladesh is set to play a total of five matches in China. After facing provincial teams in their first two matches, this was Bangladesh’s first test against China’s senior national team.
Despite the defeat, Bangladesh fought neck to neck in the match, providing encouraging signs ahead of their Asian Games engagement.
