Man Killed After Being Hit by Train at Karwan Bazar

Dhaka: An unidentified man was killed after being hit by a train at Karwan Bazar in the capital's Tejgaon area on Thursday night. A vegetable trader named Kader, along with another passerby, found the critically injured man, who appeared to be about 55 years old. They promptly took him to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 11:30 pm. However, doctors declared him dead upon examination.

According to United News of Bangladesh, Kader reported that the man was crossing the railway tracks when he was struck by a moving train. Inspector Md Faruk, who is in charge of the DMCH police camp, stated that the body has been placed in the hospital morgue for an autopsy. The local police station has been informed about the incident, and efforts are currently underway to identify the deceased and complete the necessary legal procedures.
