Receptions for Freshers’ and Meritorious Students Held at Rajshahi IHT

Rajshahi: A reception for freshers' and meritorious students was held at the Institute of Health Technology (IHT) in the city, initiated by the Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Chhatra Dal. The program was organized at the auditorium of IHT in the morning.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Land Minister Mizanur Rahman Minu, MP, was present at the event as the chief guest. The event was inaugurated by the Administrator of Rajshahi City Corporation and General Secretary of Rajshahi Metropolitan BNP, Mahfuzur Rahman Riton. Mamunur Rashid Mamun, President of Rajshahi Metropolitan BNP, served as the chief speaker.

At the event, new students were welcomed with flowers, and meritorious students were felicitated. The speakers emphasized the importance of sincerity, discipline, and attention in studies for the new students at IHT, urging them to become skilled and humane health workers. They highlighted that the success of meritorious students would serve as inspiration for others, urging students to utilize their talents and skills for the country's welfare.

In attendance were Vice-President of the DAB Central Committee Dr. Mofakhkharul Islam, Principal of IHT Dr. Md. Mirza Wasi Parvez, and General Secretary of DAB Rajshahi District Dr. Monowar Tarik Sabu as special guests. The event was also attended by teachers, students, and guardians of IHT, along with leaders and activists of Chhatra Dal, including affiliated and associate organizations of BNP.
