Rangpur: Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib Dulu, MP, announced that the quadruple murder case in Rangpur will be tried swiftly to ensure justice by submitting a charge sheet shortly. "The murders of four members of the same family are a major incident in the history of Rangpur. We hope the investigating agency will be able to file a charge sheet soon through completing the investigation for starting the trial process as early as possible," he stated.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Minister Dulu conveyed these remarks to local reporters during his visit to Rangpur Medical College and Hospital (RpMCH) on Saturday. The purpose of his visit was to lay the foundation stone of the Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit's service building and attend a meeting of the hospital's management committee.
In response to a question, the minister emphasized the importance of identifying and prosecuting the true perpetrators involved in the quadruple murders through a thorough investigation. "That is why the administration is taking some time to investigate," he explained.
The event was attended by Rangpur Development Authority Chairman Md Samsuzzaman Samu, Rangpur Divisional Commissioner Md Shahidul Islam, RpMCH Director Brigadier General Md Ashiqur Rahman, and Rangpur Medical College Principal Professor Dr Md Anwar Hossain, among others.
