Two Killed in Gaibandha Road Crashes

Gaibandha: Two people were killed and three others injured in separate road accidents in Palashbari and Sadullapur upazilas of Gaibandha.

According to United News of Bangladesh, in Sadullapur, Golam Rabbani, a resident of Shibpur in Sahapara Union of Gaibandha Sadar upazila, was killed when a bus collided with the motorcycle he was riding while taking his son to school around 9:30 am. Locals reported that Rabbani was thrown onto the road after the collision and died at the spot. His son sustained serious injuries and was taken to Sadullapur Upazila Health Complex. Sadullapur Police Station Sub-Inspector Abu Taleb confirmed that Rabbani worked in the accounting department of Sadullapur Govt College.

In a separate incident in Palashbari, microbus driver Masud Rana was killed, and another person was injured when a passenger bus collided head-on with a microbus near Majhipara, adjacent to Sakoa Bridge, around 10 am. Officer-in-Charge of Palashbari Police Station Sarwar Alam stated that police personnel have been dispatched to the location.
