Bandarban: Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Minister Sa Ching Prue today reiterated the government's commitment to ensuring quality education across the hill region, emphasizing its significance for sustainable development. "The government is education-friendly and will continue working tirelessly for the overall development of the education sector," he remarked while addressing a reception for meritorious students who secured GPA-5 in the 2026 SSC and Dakhil examinations.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the reception was organized by Bandarban Municipality at the Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium. Sa Ching Prue praised the initiative of providing scholarships through various organizations, highlighting that such efforts foster a spirit of healthy competition among students and motivate them to achieve better academic results. He urged students to focus on their studies and contribute to the welfare of the country and its people.
The event was graced by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Additional Deputy Commissioner Sajib Kanti Rudra, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Marufa Sultana Khan Hiramoni, and Principal of Bandarban Cantonment Public School and College Lt Colonel Mohammad Kamrul Hasan Khan. The reception was chaired by Bandarban Municipality Administrator S. M. Manjurul Haque.
