RDA Chairman Initiates Fish Release and Tree Plantation on BNP’s 48th Anniversary

Rajshahi: On the occasion of the 48th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), a program featuring fish release and tree planting was held in Rajshahi. Rajshahi Development Authority (RDA) Chairman Abul Kalam Azad Sweet spearheaded the initiative by releasing various species of fish in the RDA Park and Bhadra Lake.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, approximately one maund of fish, including species such as Rui and Katla, were released into the lake. This initiative aims to boost fish production, conserve biodiversity, and maintain environmental balance in the area.

In addition to the fish release, the RDA Chairman planted several saplings in the RDA Park as part of a tree plantation effort. The event was attended by former Jubodal convener Abdul Quader Bakul, former president of Ward number 27 BNP Abdus Sattar, former organizational secretary Mahbubul Haque Minu, and leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organizations.

The program, organized to commemorate BNP's founding anniversary, highlighted the importance of protecting the natural environment, enhancing fish production, and conserving local aquatic resources.
