Dhaka: The government today appointed Md Quamruzzaman Chowdhury, who previously served as the secretary (contractual) of the Medical Education and Family Welfare Division, as the new secretary of the Public Administration Ministry.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Public Administration Ministry issued two separate notifications regarding these appointments. These notifications were signed by Deputy Secretary Jati Prue, confirming the new roles for the appointed officials.
In a separate notification, Md Ehsanul Hoque, who was serving as the secretary (contractual) of the Public Administration Ministry, has been appointed as a member (senior secretary, contractual) of the Planning Commission. These orders have been issued in the public interest and will take effect immediately, as stated in the notifications.
