Rangamati BNP Initiates 3-Day Programme for 48th Founding Anniversary

Rangamati: The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Rangamati unit, today began a three-day programme marking the party’s 48th founding anniversary by hoisting the national and party flags in front of the district BNP office. The district BNP, its affiliated and associate organisations, have organised various programmes as part of the anniversary celebrations.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, District BNP general secretary Advocate Mamunur Rashid Mamun attended the flag-hoisting ceremony as the chief guest at the party office this morning. District BNP office secretary Md Abdul Quddus, Women Affairs Secretary Shahida Akter, assistant office secretary Md Naser Khan, and assistant women affairs secretary Monowara Begum, among others, were present.



District BNP Women Affairs Secretary Shahida Akter told BSS that a three-day programme has been organised in the district by the BNP and its affiliated and associate organisations to mark the party’s 48th founding anniversary. She mentioned that a rally will begin from the Rangamati Pourashava premises at 3.00pm today and proceed to New Market, followed by a discussion meeting at the district BNP office.



On Wednesday, the district Jatiyatabadi Matsyajibi Dal will release fish into Kaptai Lake in the Assambasti Narikal Bagan area in the morning. At noon, the district Jatyotabadi Krishak Dal will organise a tree plantation programme at Boradam Love Point in the town, followed by a discussion meeting at the district BNP office at 7:00pm.



On Thursday, Sept 3, the district Jatyatabadi Samajik Sangskritik Sangstha (JASAS) will organise a discussion meeting and cultural programme at the party office. Various colourful programmes are also being observed in all 10 upazilas of the district.
