Dhaka: A fire that broke out at a tin-shed jhut (scrap) cotton warehouse in the Basabo area of Khilgaon in the capital has been brought under control.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the fire broke out at 11:58 am, as reported by sources at Fire Service and Civil Defence. On receiving information, two firefighting units from Khilgaon Fire Station promptly rushed to the scene and managed to bring the fire under control by around 12:28 pm. Fortunately, there have been no reports of casualties from the incident.
