Dhaka: Members of the Bohmong Circle royal family today paid tribute at the graves of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman Bir Uttam, the proclaimer of Bangladesh's Independence, and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Bohmong Circle Prince Sa Ching Prue Jerry, serving as Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs since August 21, 2026, was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Mom Ching, royal family member Sashai Prue, valiant freedom fighter Mongshaihla, and other members of the royal family. They gathered to pay their respects.
The royal family placed wreaths at the graves and expressed their profound respect for Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and Begum Khaleda Zia at around 11:15 am. They engaged in special prayers, seeking the eternal peace of the departed souls.
