Dhaka: Police arrested 56 people in a series of raids in crime-prone areas under the Tejgaon Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). The arrests were made on Friday, according to a DMP press release.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, of the arrested individuals, 24 were from Mohammadpur Police Station, 10 from Hatirjheel, nine from Tejgaon Industrial Area, seven from Tejgaon, four from Adabor, and two from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police stations. The detainees were subsequently sent to court.
