Dhaka: Newly appointed Supreme Court Appellate Division Justice Md Habibul Gani will take oath tomorrow morning. Chief Justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury will administer the oath to Justice Md Habibul Gani at 9:30am at the Supreme Court Judges' Lounge, as announced in a press release today by Supreme Court Public Relations Officer Md Shafiqul Islam.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Justice Md Habibul Gani was born on May 31, 1962, and has an educational background that includes MSS and LLB degrees from the University of Chittagong. His legal career began when he was enrolled as an advocate of the High Court Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court on April 11, 1992.
Over the years, Justice Gani's career progressed significantly. He was elevated as an Additional Judge of the High Court Division on April 18, 2010, and subsequently appointed as a Judge of the same Division on April 15, 2012. His oath as an Appellate Division judge marks another milestone in his distinguished legal career.
