Dhaka: Bangladesh's foreign exchange reserves stood at US$37.47 billion (gross), according to the latest data released by Bangladesh Bank (BB) today. This figure indicates the current state of the country's financial reserves in terms of foreign currency holdings.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the country's gross foreign exchange reserves reached US$37.47 billion. However, when calculated under the IMF's BPM6 methodology, the reserves stood at US$32.62 billion. This difference highlights the varying methods of reserve calculation and their implications for economic assessments.
