Mymensingh: Sheuli Khanam, the only younger sister of BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan, passed away at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) today. She was 57 and succumbed at around 11 am while receiving treatment at the hospital.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Sheuli Khanam was admitted to the hospital on August 15 following a severe brain stroke. She leaves behind her husband, children, parents, brother, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and well-wishers. Shayrul Kabir Khan has requested everyone to pray for the eternal peace of his sister’s soul.
Meanwhile, BNP Presidential candidate and former Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed his condolences over Sheuli Khanam’s death. In a message issued today, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir noted that she was esteemed by her neighbors for her benevolence and religious nature. He extended his prayers for her to be granted a place in Jannatul Ferdous and expressed his sympathy to the grieving family, relatives, and well-wishers.
