Dhaka: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) meeting is currently in session, chaired by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. This significant assembly commenced at 10:00 am on Wednesday at the Planning Commission in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, located in the heart of the capital.
According to United News of Bangladesh, a total of 11 development projects have been presented for approval during the meeting. The session sees participation from several key government figures, including LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, Water Resources Minister Md Shahiduddin Chowdhury Anee, and Health Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain. Other notable attendees include Agriculture, Fisheries and Livestock Minister Mohammed Aminur Rashid, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Md Asaduzzaman, and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Shaikh Rabiul Alam.
Senior officials from various ministries and agencies are also in attendance, tasked with presenting and deliberating on the development project proposals. A press briefing is scheduled to occur at the Planning Commission auditorium following the conclusion of the meeting.
