DMP Files 1,730 Cases for Traffic Law Violations in City

Dhaka: The Traffic Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 1,730 cases against traffic law violators during the last 24 hours in the capital. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the DMP announced in a press release that a total of 589 vehicles were dumped and 348 vehicles were towed during traffic enforcement drives on Monday.



The enforcement action was spread across various divisions within the city. The Ramna Division filed 136 cases, Lalbagh Division 141 cases, Motijheel Division 307 cases, Wari Division 152 cases, Tejgaon Division 174 cases, Mirpur Division 354 cases, Uttara Division 262 cases, and Gulshan Division 204 cases during the drive.



The DMP stated that its traffic enforcement drives would continue across the capital to ensure traffic discipline.
