Mohammadpur Police Arrests 30 Individuals in Anti-Crime Drive

Dhaka: Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s (DMP) Mohammadpur station overnight arrested 30 individuals as part of a special anti-crime campaign under its jurisdiction. Mohammadpur police station’s officer said that they netted the 30 people on charges of various crimes like mugging, drug trading, and theft in their latest drive carried out by several teams.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a press release issued by DMP’s media and public relations division stated that the suspects were produced before a Dhaka court. The arrested individuals include Md Saidur Rahman Saeed alias Pichchi Saeed (37), Md Rubel Hossain alias Bhatija Rubel (35), and several others aged between 18 and 47.



The DMP confirmed that the arrested include accused facing regular cases and involved in various crimes. Police recovered a pistol, a magazine, four rounds of bullets, and 80 pieces of yaba tablets from their possessions.
