Doha: Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman held separate meetings with Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, Energy Minister of Qatar, and Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, Finance Minister of Qatar, in Doha on Tuesday.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the meetings were attended by Adviser to Prime Minister for Finance and Planning Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir, State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Aninda Islam Amit, Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir, and other high officials. The discussions centered on issues of mutual interest, focusing particularly on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the energy and financial sectors.
Both sides agreed to establish Joint Working Groups to track the progress on discussed issues and foster mutually beneficial cooperation in these domains. Furthermore, the Foreign Minister extended invitations to both Qatari Ministers to visit Bangladesh at their mutual convenience.
The Foreign Minister is currently in Doha on a two-day official visit, leading a high-level Bangladesh delegation.
