Dhaka: Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Tuesday said India desires "positive, constructive and forward-looking" relations with Bangladesh based on mutuality of interests and reciprocity.
According to United News of Bangladesh, MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal responded to several questions during a biweekly briefing in New Delhi. He emphasized that India's stance on the press conference held by former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Delhi remains unchanged and does not need reiteration.
Addressing the issue of extraditions, Jaiswal noted that India maintains a consistent position that such requests are being processed as part of their established procedures.
