Chattogram: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has issued an advisory for the country's maritime ports to hoist local cautionary signal No. 3. This directive comes in response to the formation of a low-pressure area over the North Bay and nearby coastal regions of West Bengal and Bangladesh.

According to United News of Bangladesh, the Met office released a special bulletin cautioning that the maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Mongla, and Payra, as well as the North Bay and adjacent coastal areas, might experience squally weather conditions due to the low-pressure system. Consequently, all fishing boats and trawlers operating in the North Bay have been advised to stay close to the coast and exercise caution until further updates are provided.
