58.05% Students Pass SSC Exams in Dinajpur Board

Dinajpur: Dinajpur Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has recorded a 58.05 percent pass rate in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination this year.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a total of 180,752 candidates appeared in the examination under the board, of whom 104,925 students, comprising 58.05%, have passed. The results indicate a significant participation, although the pass rate reflects room for improvement in the educational outcomes in the region.



A total of 13,639 students have secured GPA-5 from the board, showcasing a level of excellence among the candidates. Notably, girls have outperformed boys in the results, with a pass rate of 63.01 percent compared to 53.33 percent among boys. Of the total 13,639 GPA-5 achievers, 7,152 are girls and 6,487 are boys, highlighting a commendable achievement for female students in the region.



This year, SSC examinations under the Dinajpur Board were held at 273 centres involving 2,814 schools across eight districts of the Rangpur division. The widespread participation underscores the extensive reach of the education system in this area.



Earlier, around 10:00 am today, the Dinajpur Education Board authorities published the SSC results, marking a significant event for students, educators, and families awaiting the outcomes of the examination.
