Indian High Commissioner Meets Foreign Minister to Discuss Bilateral Relations

Dhaka: Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi today called on Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman and discussed various issues concerning bilateral relations and mutual interests. The meeting was held at a state guest house in the capital this afternoon.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was described as a regular engagement focusing on bilateral issues. A spokesperson from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the foreign minister and the Indian envoy exchanged views on different aspects of Bangladesh-India relations as well as issues of mutual interest.

The discussions aimed at reinforcing the longstanding ties between the two neighboring countries, with both parties expressing a commitment to further cooperation. The spokesperson did not disclose specific details about the topics discussed but emphasized the importance of such meetings in maintaining and enhancing diplomatic relations.
