Dhaka: The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has apprehended 79 individuals during anti-crime operations carried out by the Tejgaon Division over the last 24 hours.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the arrests were made during routine operations targeting crime-prone areas within the jurisdiction of six police stations under the division. The breakdown of arrests includes 19 individuals from Mohammadpur, 17 from Adabor, 14 each from Tejgaon and Hatirjheel, 10 from Tejgaon Industrial Area, and five from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.
The individuals arrested in these operations have been presented before the respective court for further proceedings.
