Dhaka: Two more children suspected of having measles died as 1,085 new measles and 900 suspected cases were reported in the last 24 hours in the country. This update elevates the total number of suspected measles death cases to 741 children since March 15, 2026.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the number of suspected measles cases has reached 128,310. In the last 24 hours, 185 cases were confirmed as measles through laboratory tests, increasing the total number of confirmed cases to 16,059 since March 15.
Since March 15, a total of 110,987 patients with suspected measles have been admitted to hospitals. During the same period, 106,859 patients have recovered and been discharged from the hospital. No deaths from confirmed measles were reported in the past 24 hours, keeping the total number of deaths from confirmed measles at 96.
