Dhaka: Victoria Sporting Club registered a comfortable 2-0 win over Kollol Sangha in a match of the Second Division (U-18) Football League held today at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city's Kamalapur.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Tanvir Islam Joy and Mosarof Hossain scored one goal each for the winners in the 38th and 46th minutes respectively. This victory marks an important step for Victoria Sporting Club in the league standings.
In another match of the day, Jatrabari Jhatika Sangsad and Kingstar Sporting Club ended in a 2-2 draw at the same venue. Shahriar Nafees and Robiul Hossen scored for Jatrabari in the 18th and 43rd minutes, while Antor Miqa and Sajib Bakhtiar secured goals for Kingstar in the 32nd and 90+5th minutes respectively.
