Dhaka: A drawing competition for students will be held on August 4 at the Khulna Shishu Academy to mark July Uprising Day, jointly organised by the Khulna district administration and the Bangladesh Shishu Academy. The competition will commence at 11:00 am, providing participants one hour to complete their drawings.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the competition is divided into four categories: Group A, targeting students from Classes I to IV, will focus on an open theme; Group B, for Classes V to VII, will center around the July Uprising; Group C, for Classes VIII to X, will also concentrate on the July Uprising; and Group D, catering to children with special needs, will have an open theme. Participants are required to bring their own drawing materials, with the organisers supplying only the drawing paper. Students can participate directly without any prior nomination.
The event will be followed by a discussion and prize-giving ceremony on August 5 at 11:00 am at the Khulna District Shilpakala Academy auditorium.
