Dhaka: Land Minister Mizanur Rahman Minu today emphasized that the government has prioritized the health and education sectors, pledging ongoing support to enhance healthcare services nationwide. He delivered these remarks at the closing ceremony of a congenital heart disease screening and treatment program for children aged three to 18 at the Rajshahi National Heart Foundation, where he served as the chief guest.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the three-day program, held from July 22 to 24, was a collaborative effort between the Rajshahi National Heart Foundation, the Department of Pediatric Cardiology at China's Fuwai Yunnan Cardiovascular Hospital, and the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases and Hospital (NICVD) in Dhaka.
During his speech, Minister Minu underscored the importance of the partnership between Bangladesh and China, noting the historic friendship that has fostered such collaborative initiatives. The minister's remarks highlighted the government's commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and services, particularly for vulnerable populations like children with congenital heart disease.
