Dhaka: Md Rashed Khan has been appointed as the Political Assistant to the Prime Minister on a contractual basis with the status of Secretary. This appointment was confirmed through a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Rashed Khan's new role requires him to sever any ties with other professions, businesses, and any government, semi-government, or private institutions or entities. This condition is part of the terms of his appointment.
The notification specifies that Rashed Khan will serve in his new capacity from the date of joining until the end of the Prime Minister's tenure or with the Prime Minister's consent, whichever occurs first. The contract will also outline other terms and conditions related to his appointment.
