Dhaka: Fisheries and Livestock Minister Mohammed Aminur Rashid today emphasized the necessity of responsibility, honesty, dedication, and coordinated efforts to fulfill public expectations. Positive societal changes can be achieved through sincerity, accountability, and good governance practices by those in charge at every level of government and administration, he stated.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Aminur Rashid, who also serves as the Minister of Agriculture, made these remarks while exchanging post-Eid greetings with officials at the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock conference room this afternoon, as mentioned in a press release. He highlighted the crucial role of officials and employees who remain engaged in state responsibilities for extended periods, noting their importance in implementing national decisions, formulating policies, and improving the quality of public services.
The minister remarked that individual honesty and responsibility can have a positive impact on the workplace and society. Emphasizing the head of government's awareness of the country's overall activities, Rashid insisted on the importance of transparency, accountability, and dedication in fulfilling duties.
Rashid further stated that the government is focused on reducing unnecessary administrative expenditure, ensuring transparency in plan implementation, and making effective decisions. He also mentioned recent initiatives aimed at cutting unnecessary expenditures through the review of various projects.
State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Sultan Salahuddin Tuku reiterated the need for officials to perform their duties responsibly, with no scope for negligence. He stressed that responsibilities must be carried out with honesty and efficiency to meet public expectations, warning that officials should avoid activities that could harm the state. Senior officials of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock attended the occasion.
