Shailkupa: Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Advocate Md. Asaduzzaman today emphasized the importance of vigilance in preventing drugs and extremism from affecting society. He delivered these remarks while attending an Eid reunion program as the chief guest at Dukkhi Mahmud Degree College in Shailkupa Upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the law minister highlighted the presence of an “evil force” in the area, disguising itself under the pretense of selling herbal tablets. As a former student of the college, he called upon attendees to remain alert, stressing their role as companions in safeguarding society against the threats of extremism and drug abuse.
The event also saw the attendance of notable figures such as Upazila BNP General Secretary Humayun Babar Firoz, local BNP leader Mozammel Hossain Tozam, and former chairman of Tribeni Union, Sabdar Hossain Molla, who participated as special guests. Former and current teachers and students of the college were also present at the program.
