Siblings Perish in Auto-Rickshaw and Motorcycle Collision in Patuakhali

Patuakhali: Two siblings were killed and as many were wounded in a head-on collision between an auto-rickshaw and a motorcycle in front of the Grameen Bank office in the Galachipa municipal area of the district around 10:30 am today. The deceased were identified as Md Tamin Howlader and Imran Howlader, sons of Md. Jaber Howlader of the Kalikapur area.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Tamin died on the spot, while Imran succumbed to his injuries on the way to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital. The injured auto-rickshaw driver, Sohag, and passenger Farid were admitted to the Galachipa Upazila Health Complex for treatment.



Officer-in-Charge of Galachipa Police Station, Md. Zillur Rahman, stated that the bodies would be handed over to the families after the completion of legal procedures.
