Dhaka: CNG filling stations across the country will remain open round the clock on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha till June 2. The Energy and Mineral Resources Division has sent a letter to the Chairman of the Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation (Petrobangla) requesting necessary measures in this regard.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the letter specifies that CNG filling stations will operate continuously from May 21 to June 2. This period includes the seven days leading up to Eid, the Eid day itself, and the following five days. The decision aims to ensure smooth movement of vehicles on highways and to facilitate easier travel for passengers during the Eid holidays.
