Dhaka: Authorities of the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP) today paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. The meeting took place at the Prime Minister's Cabinet Division office in the Bangladesh Secretariat this afternoon, as stated by Prime Minister's Deputy Press Secretary Jahidul Islam Rony. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the discussions during the meeting centered around rehabilitation activities for persons with paralysis. CRP officials provided the Prime Minister with a briefing on their ongoing activities and various aspects of their treatment and rehabilitation services. Present at the meeting were CRP Founder Valerie A. Taylor, Executive Director of the Trustee Board Dr. Mohammad Sohrab Hossain, Trustee Chairman Muhammad Saidur Rahman, Trustee Mushtaq Ahmed, and other senior officials of the organization.
