Training on Sacrificial Animal Slaughtering and Skin Preservation Conducted in Gobindaganj

Gobindaganj: A day-long training session focused on the slaughtering of sacrificial animals and the preservation of their skin was conducted at the conference room of Gobindaganj upazila administration.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event was organized by the upazila livestock office in collaboration with the upazila administration. The training session was graced by the presence of UNO Syeda Yasmin Sultana as the chief guest, while upazila livestock officer Dr. Abdus Samad presided over the gathering.

During the training, Livestock Officer Dr. Abdus Samad provided detailed explanations of the techniques required to properly separate the skin from the body of the animals. The session aimed to educate participants on the correct and efficient methods of handling sacrificial animals during slaughtering.

Chief guest Yasmin emphasized the importance of following appropriate practices in the slaughtering process to ensure the quality and preservation of the animal skin. The training was attended by local butchers and other stakeholders who are directly involved in the slaughtering process.
