Dhaka: State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj has emphasized the significance of public cooperation in successfully implementing development activities. He made these remarks during an exchange of views with leaders of the Chand Udyan Housing and Home Owners’ Association and local residents in the Mohammadpur area.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Bobby Hajjaj stated that the government faces challenges in constructing roads if residents do not cooperate by vacating the necessary road space. He urged everyone to actively participate in development efforts for the greater good. The State Minister assured that the problems faced by housing societies in Mohammadpur will be systematically addressed, and he mentioned that a police station would be established in Bosila to help curb crime in the area.
Bobby Hajjaj also announced that measures will be taken to maintain cleanliness and improve livability in the region. He warned that actions will be enforced against individuals who improperly dispose of waste on streets and outside their homes. Additionally, he promised to facilitate the creation of playgrounds for children’s healthy development and called for the installation of streetlights and CCTV cameras in strategic locations to bolster security and civic amenities.
Addressing local complaints regarding gas supply, Bobby Hajjaj mentioned that discussions with Titas Gas authorities would be initiated to resolve these issues swiftly. The event saw the presence of local residents, leaders of the homeowners’ association, and people from different professions.
