Dhaka: Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Faqir Mahbub Anam today called for coordinated initiatives to further accelerate the country’s technological transformation activities. Addressing as the chief guest at the RADP review meeting of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division for the month of May, 2026 at the conference room of ICT Tower in the capital’s Agargaon, he instructed all concerned to work sincerely to deliver technology-based services to the doorsteps of the people, said a ministry press release.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Faqir Mahbub, who is also the Science and Technology Minister, emphasized the need for speedy and effective implementation of various projects and urged the concerned officials to work responsibly. The meeting discussed in detail the ongoing activities of the ICT Division, progress of various development projects, and future work plans.
During the meeting, project directors presented the progress of project implementation. The session was chaired by ICT Division Secretary Qazi Anwar Hossain and attended by senior officials of the ICT Division, representatives of concerned organisations, and project directors, among others.
