Dhaka: Dhaka Athletics Club came from behind to secure a 4-3 victory over Xenon FC in the Women's Futsal League at Shaheed Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium in Mirpur today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the match was intense, with Janntul playing a key role by scoring two goals for Dhaka Athletics in the 10th and 24th minutes. Purnima and Sadia further contributed to the team's success with one goal each in the 12th and 21st minutes, respectively.
Xenon FC's efforts were highlighted by goals from Puja, Romana, and Sanjida, who scored in the 2nd, 8th, and 36th minutes, respectively. Despite their strong performance, Xenon FC was unable to maintain their lead, allowing Dhaka Athletics to clinch the win.
