Chuadanga: A farmer lost his life in a road accident at Panch Mile Bazar in Sadar upazila early this morning. The victim has been identified as Mojam Hossain, aged 55, the son of the late Mofiz Uddin from Notun Bhandardoha village in Sadar upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred when a speeding pickup truck struck Mojam Hossain as he was attempting to cross the road, resulting in severe injuries. Local residents immediately transported him to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital, where the attending doctor declared him dead upon arrival.
Mizanur Rahman, the officer-in-charge of Chuadanga Sadar Police Station, has confirmed the incident.
