Dhaka: Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) is set to launch its ‘Eid Special Bus Service’ from May 23 ahead of the holy Eid-ul-Azha. Advance ticket sales for BRTC buses will begin on May 17, as revealed today in a press release issued by the corporation’s public relations department (PRD).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the initiative has been taken by the government to ensure safe, comfortable, and affordable travel for homebound passengers during the Eid-ul-Azha holiday. Through the service, passengers will have the opportunity to travel to different destinations across the country at affordable fares.
The authorities have urged the public to avail the special bus service of BRTC.
