Dhaka: The government has appointed three new prosecutors to the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the newly-appointed prosecutors are Md Magfur Rahman Sheikh, Dr Mohammad Oli Miah, and Barrister Rafiul Islam. Magfur Rahman Sheikh has been appointed with the status of deputy attorney general, while Dr Mohammad Oli Miah and Barrister Rafiul Islam have been appointed with the status of assistant attorney general.
The Solicitor Wing of the Law and Justice Division issued a gazette notification regarding these appointments, stating that the order will come into effect immediately.
