Workshop on Integrated Waste Management Project Held in Rajshahi

Rajshahi: An inception workshop for consultancy services under the project titled “Feasibility Study and Updated Development Project Proposal (DPP)”-part of the Integrated Waste Management and 3R Strategy Implementation Project of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) was held. The workshop took place today at the City Meeting Hall in Nagar Bhaban and was chaired by Mahfuzur Rahman Riton, the Administrator of RCC.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Local Government Policy Specialist Manjur Morshed presented detailed information and visuals on the overall activities of the project. The workshop included in-depth discussions on formulating an action plan to develop a modern, sustainable, and environmentally friendly waste management system for Rajshahi city.



Attendees at the workshop included RCC Chief Executive Officer Rezaul Karim, Secretary Sohel Rana, Superintending Engineers Khairul Baker and Ahmad Al Moin Parag, Chief Health Officer Dr. FAM Anjuman Ara Begum, and Chief Revenue Officer Abu Saleh Md. Nur-E-Saeed. Executive Engineers Mahmudur Rahman, Subrata Kumar Sarkar, and Nilufar Yasmin, Deputy Chief Conservancy Officer Selim Reza Ranju, and Town Planner Bony Ahsan, along with other stakeholders of the Triangulum Project, were also present.
