Dhaka: Chief Justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury has called upon Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to perform their duties with honesty and integrity, emphasizing their role as reflections of the government. He addressed this at a courtesy meeting and directive session held at the Bangladesh Supreme Court auditorium from 4 pm to 5 pm.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Chief Justice highlighted the importance of divisional commissioners and DCs as a crucial link between the executive branch and the general public. He urged them to maintain accountability to the people, society, the state, their Creator, and their own conscience. The Chief Justice stressed that their responsibilities should be executed with honesty, integrity, and dedication to uphold the trust placed in them by the government and citizens alike.
