Dhaka: State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj today emphasized the government’s ongoing efforts to establish a modern, technology-based education system accessible to every child in the nation. The initiative aligns with the leadership vision of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, aiming to create an inclusive and forward-thinking primary education framework.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Bobby Hajjaj made these remarks as the chief guest at a review meeting on new development projects under the Directorate of Primary Education. Held at the directorate’s conference room, the meeting focused on integrating a digital education ecosystem. Hajjaj highlighted that future education would rely on technology, with Learning Management Systems (LMS), smart assessments, and school management being unified under a single digital platform.
Bobby Hajjaj stressed the importance of enhancing foundational literacy and numeracy, particularly in language education. The government is renewing efforts to improve reading comprehension, listening, and speaking skills among students. He also instructed officials to ensure transparency, accountability, and adherence to timelines while implementing projects.

These projects include developing government primary schools, renovating schools, enhancing playgrounds, furnishing pre-primary classrooms, and extending the mid-day meal program. Additional initiatives involve the NextGen Primary Education Programme, solar electrification in hill district schools, and infrastructure development for model schools and PTIs nationwide.
