Jamalpur: State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism M Rashiduzzaman Millat today inaugurated the ‘Natun Kuri Sports’ programme at the district handball stadium here, following the nationwide opening of the young talent hunt event by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at the Sylhet stadium.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, following the inauguration ceremony, Rashiduzzaman Millat emphasized the government’s aim to identify young talents in sports and games throughout the country. He highlighted the importance of education and sports as essential components for children to become good citizens.
The event in Jamalpur was attended by Members of Parliament Advocate Shah Md Wares Ali Mamun, AE Sultan Mahmud Babu, and Mostafizur Rahman Babul. Superintendent of Police Most Farhana Yesmin, Zilla Parishad Chairman Md Sirazul Haque, and sports organizer SM Abdullah Al Fuad Reduan were also present at the inaugural ceremony.
The meeting was presided over by Additional District Magistrate AKM Abdullah Bin Rashid.
