Dhaka: A fire that broke out at a tin-shed ink manufacturing factory in Amulia Model Town area in Demra of the capital on Wednesday morning has been brought under control. The incident created significant concern among local residents and factory workers as emergency services rushed to the scene to contain the blaze.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the fire started around 11:38 am and was brought under control by 1:55 pm, as confirmed by Fire Service and Civil Defence inspector Anwarul Islam. Two units from Demra Fire Station arrived at the location around 11:55 am to tackle the flames. As the situation demanded, six more units joined the effort to expedite the firefighting operation.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported immediately following the incident. The quick response and coordinated effort of the fire service units were instrumental in managing the situation effectively, preventing any loss of life or significant injury.
