Dhaka: There was no power shortfall in the country on Tuesday and Wednesday (April 28 and 29), according to the Power Division. In a message issued today, the Power Division under the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources stated that the country's electricity demand was fully met on both days.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the electricity demand on April 28 reached 12,183 megawatts, which was completely satisfied through equal power generation. On the following day, April 29, the demand was 10,612 megawatts and was also met in full.
The Power Division message emphasized that due to the sufficient power generation, no load-shedding occurred across the country during these two consecutive days.
