RCC Administrator Inspects Under-Construction Nowdapara Kitchen Market

Rajshahi: Administrator of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) Mahfuzur Rahman Riton today inspected the under-construction kitchen market at Nowdapara and various development projects across the city. During the inspection, the RCC Administrator inquired about the progress of the construction work and directed the concerned officials to complete the work as soon as possible. At the time, he also exchanged views with local traders, listened to their problems, and assured them of resolving the issues gradually.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the visit, the RCC Administrator mentioned that under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, the current government has started implementing its election pledges even before the ink mark from the voters’ fingers has dried. The implementation of pledges has already begun, including family cards, farmer cards, allowances for Imams and Muezzins, canal excavation programs, and others.



With the aim of developing skilled athletes from the grassroots to the national level, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the new Notun Kuri Sports-2026 on May 2. The RCC Administrator stated that since taking charge on March 15, he has been working to ensure civic services and fulfill the demands of the city residents, with the intention of transforming Rajshahi into one of the most beautiful cities in Bangladesh and the world.



He further stated that the construction of the Nowdapara kitchen market will be completed soon and allocations will be made according to the law, which will increase the revenue income of the City Corporation. Later, the RCC Administrator inspected the beautification work of the pond adjacent to the Children’s Hospital and Chest Disease Hospital in the city, and the construction work of the Ward No. 6 Councillor’s Office-cum-Community Centre under construction in the Laxmipur area.
